BIOGRAPHY: DR. CAROLINE TOSONI M.D.

Originally from Montreal, Dr. Caroline Tosoni MD pursued her Medical Degree at McMaster University and completed her post-graduate medical residency in Family Medicine through the University of Ottawa in 1998.

Fluently bilingual in French and English, she opened her medical practice in Ottawa in July of 1998.

Since 2000, Dr. Tosoni has focused her medical practice on non-surgical medical aesthetics. She has received extensive training and certification sessions in various medical cosmetic enhancement procedures such as Phlebology, Botox® Cosmetic, Botox® Hyperhidrosis, Dermal Fillers, Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Laser Medicine, from some of North America’s leading cosmetic medicine experts.

Having practiced for 10 years in cosmetic medicine, Dr. Tosoni is now nationally recognized as one of the industry’s leading and most experienced physicians in medical aesthetics.

She is a certified advanced injector of Botox® Cosmetics, Botox® Hyperhidrosis and Dermal Fillers and is also certified in laser and IPL skin rejuvenation.

She continues to attend local, national and international medical and cosmetic seminars to ensure she remains at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field.

She is perceived as a trusted source of information on several medical aesthetic procedures and as such has been a regular guest on television and had been interviewed by various journalists over the years for her opinion and knowledge.

She is also a speaker consultant for Allergan, the makers of Botox and Juvederm.

Dr. Tosoni has always been a strong advocate of customer education and allowing clients to make informed decisions. Since 2002, she has held and continues to present regular educational seminars within Synergy for curious and sometimes apprehensive individuals. These informative seminars are meant to demystify common medical cosmetic enhancement procedures and introduce new and updated applications of Botox® and dermal fillers, in a non-threatening and purely educational environment. These sessions combine a lecture presentation, with live demonstrations and an open forum for questions. Over time these sessions have proven to be very popular and an important component to the decision-making process of her new and experienced clients.

When providing services, Dr. Tosoni’s focus remains obtaining optimal cosmetic result for clients seeking natural yet refined aesthetic enhancement.

She performs ALL of her Botox® treatments, Dermal filler treatments and vein injections herself to ensure a consistently professional treatment and result.
